Marjorie Clara (Williams) Dukes

Marjorie Clara Williams Dukes widow of Earl A. Dukes, Sr., 96, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Tant Ehrhardt and Rev. Larry Williams will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Johnathan Jackson, Bryan Jackson, Sidney “Buddy” Dukes, Michael Dukes, Kevin Dukes and Earl Dukes, III

Mrs. Dukes was born on December 29, 1921 in Eau Gallie, Florida.  She was the daughter of the late Sidney Eugene Williams and the late Clara Bunch Williams.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She was predeceased by a son, William Odell “Billy” Dukes and a grandson, Timothy Jackson.

Survivors include her sons, Earl A. Dukes, Jr. (JoAnn) of Orangeburg, Sidney V. Dukes (Reatha) of Orangeburg; daughters, Gail Dukes Thomas (Charles) of Snow Camp, N.C. and Pam Dukes of Cordova; nine grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence of Earl and JoAnn Dukes.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
