Martha "Kathryn" Hoffman , 73 died Sunday , June 30, 2013 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Lebanon United Methodist Church near Neeses with burial in the Church Cemetery with Rev. Neil Flowers officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

She was born May 10, 1940 in Orangeburg County, SC; a daughter of the late Carlisle Nettles and the late Catherine Fanning Nettles. she was a graduate of Norway High School. She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class; also a member of the United Women's Association. She loved going to Church and Sunday School when she was able. She loved her family and her friends. She was employed with Stone Manufacturing; Greenwood Mills and then Ambler Sewing Room. She was preceded in death by a brother; Charlie David Nettles and 1 sister; Frances Olivia "Libby" Nettles.

Survivors include her husband; Jimmie H. Hoffman of Neeses; Mother-in-law; Sallie Knight of Neeses; sister-in-law; Betty Bonin; brother-in-law; Willie (Judy) Knight; sister-in-law; Joyce (Grady)Robinson; nephew; David (Sharon) Nettles and their daughter Brooke; niece; Debbie Baltzegar and her daughters; Katie and Abbie Baltzegar all of Neeses; 3 special friends; Elaine Porter and Ms. Birdie both of Neeses and Mrs. Frances Smoak of Barnwell.

Friends may call at the residence of David and Sharon Nettles; 1378 Todd Creek Road; Neeses, SC and at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
