Mattie Boltin Nettles, 86 of Cordova died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Chaplain Gideon Brown and Mr. Tom Varnadore officiating.
Pallbearers will be Homer Hall, Bubba Hall, Harold Fairey, Shane Wingard, Adam Buck and Cody Pressley.
She was born July 7, 1929 in Orangeburg County, SC; the daughter of the late Charles Boltin and the late Lottie Whetstone Boltin Hane. She was retired Southland Packing Company. She was the widow of the late Albert Nettles.
Survivors include 1 daughter; Patsy Maynard of Cordova; 2 grandchildren; Monica (Steven) Jones of Cordova; Eric (Rebecca) Norton of Orangeburg; great grandsons; Michael Wingard, Dawson Morgan and Gavin Morgan all of Cordova; great great grandson; Ian Wingard of Cordova; special companion; Franklin Hair of Williston; special other family; Patricia Boltin of FL; Junior Boltin of Dillon; Tommy Boltin of FL; and Linda of Aiken.
Friends may call at her residence and at the funeral home. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
