Mattie Williams Troutman, 91, of Elloree, S.C. passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Lexington Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Elloree, S.C. Pastor John Salazar and Rev. Henry Cooper will be officiating. Burial will follow at Hungerpillar Cemetery in Elloree, S.C.
Pallbearers will be Walter Weeks, Joey Williams, Wayne Williams, Don Felkel, Phil Shipley and Marty Troutman.
Mrs. Troutman was born on December 28, 1924 in Bamberg County. She was the daughter of the late Calhoun Williams and the late Lizzie Delk Williams. Mrs. Troutman was a retired inspector from Utica Tool. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for many years at Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a witness to everyone and prayed day and night for all. She shared the love of Christ with everyone she met. Mrs. Troutman was predeceased by her husband, Shellie Hiram Troutman.
Survivors include sons Ernest Troutman (Julia) of Cope, S.C. and Jerry Troutman (Margie) of St. Matthews; daughter, Libby Sullivan (J.L.) of Gaston, S.C.; 6 grandchildren, Heather Whisenhunt, Todd Troutman, Travis Troutman (Jennifer), Brian Troutman (Liza), Jenny Troutman and Rachel Troutman; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren, Shawn Smith (Sandy) and Laurie Pickelsimer (Jason); 4 step-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews; family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
