McKeithon Haddock, 97 of 590 Robinson Street; Orangeburg died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Jolley Acres Health Care Center in Orangeburg.
The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene; 450 Woodbine Dr. Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Robert Morris and Rev. Billy Williams officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
He was born October 8, 1918 in Walterboro, SC; the son of the late Mac Haddock and the late Catherine Beach Haddock. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene; served in helping to build the church; also served on the church board and was a Sunday School Teacher. He was the widower of the late Mae Barnes Haddock. He was preceded in death by Lois Carn, Gerald Haddock and Kenneth Haddock and by a grandson; Keith Gilliam.
Survivors include his children; Joan H. Keitt of Cope; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. (Margaret) Gilliam of Orangeburg; Doris Aldridge of West Columbia and McKeithon Haddock, Jr. of Orangeburg; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence; 590 Robinson Street; Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
