He was born April 27, 1955 in Columbia, SC; the son of L.P. Hatfield and the late Margie Threatt Harfield. He was a former employee of the South Carolina Electric and Gas Plant in Cope.
Survivors include his Father; L.P. Hatfield, Jr. of Elloree; 2 brothers; Stephen P. Hatfield and Timothy A. Hatfield both of Columbia, SC.
