Michael Wayne Kemmerlin,59 of 342 Cobb Road, Orangeburg, S.C. 29115 died on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, S.C with Layman Newton Wannamaker officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Church Cemetery, Cameron, S.C.

Pallbearers will be Randy Mitchell, Brandon Black, Randall Black, Scotty Nolan, Bud Jackson, Christian Jansky, Tony Chavis, Ralph Chavis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gabriel Black, Gregory Jumper, Jerry Black, Donald Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Jr.

Mr. Kemmerlin was born on April 4, 1955 in Orangeburg, S.C. He was the son of the late Eugene K. Kemmerlin, Sr. and the late Mae Wannamaker Kemmerlin. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother; Eugene Kemmerlin, Sr; one sister; Mary Lee Adicks; and one grandson; John Varney III.

Survivors include 5 daughters; Amanda Kemmerlin of Spartanburg, S.C., Melissa Kemmerlin of Columbia, S.C., Shelby Black (Jerry) of Neeses, S.C., Carla Jackson (Bud) of Beaufort, S.C., Nicole Nicholson of Orangeburg, S.C. and one son; Samuel Kemmerlin of Oregon; 5 sisters; Louise Berry (Monroe) of Orangeburg, S.C., Lou Ester Browning of Elloree, S.C., Nell Huiett , Nancy New, Betty Vandervoit and Peggy Halter all of Orangeburg, , one brother; Thomas E. Johnson (Cecilia) of Orangeburg, S.C.; three step-children; Victoria Vosburg, Amanda Vosburg and Ryleigh Vosburg; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
