Michael "Mike" Leon Gleaton

Michael "Mike" Leon Gleaton, 48 of Orangeburg passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 after an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Dan Fogle, Jr. officiating

Pallbearers will be Kenny Peele, Johnny Bozard, Grey Murphy, Randy Fanning, Paul Strickland, Lynn Hughes, Mike Goodwin, Mike Goodwin, Jr.

He was born June 15, 1968 in Orangeburg, SC; the son of Leon Henry Gleaton (L.H.) Jr. and Elizabeth "Lib" Stillinger Gleaton. He was a member of the North Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member of the Beaver Creek Pee Dee Indians. He was preceded in death by a niece, Laura Ashley Boone.

Survivors include his parents; Mr. & Mrs. Leon Henry (L.H. and Lib) Gleaton, Jr. of Orangeburg; special friend; Pamela Georgette Etheridge of Orangeburg; a son; Michael Leon Gleaton, Jr. of Orangeburg; a sister; Dorraine Gleaton Teasley (Dodie) of Lexington; a brother; Timothy Ashton Gleaton of Orangeburg and nephew; William Bryan Burbage (Elyse) of Atlanta, GA; nieces Emily Elizabeth Boone of Lexington; Haley Mavis Bodiford of Barnwell; one great niece; Brylee Reagan Burbage of Atlanta, GA and one great nephew; Brayden Owens Burbage of Atlanta, GA.

Friends may call at the residence of his parents L. H. and Lib Gleaton; 112 Rochelle Drive, Orangeburg, SC 29118 and at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
