Mrs. Mildred Binnicker Edgemon, 96 of Orangeburg died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Providence Baptist Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Edisto Baptist Church; 2726 Carver School Rd.; Cope with Rev. Paul Hill, Rev. Odell Breland and Rev. Steve Fields officiating.

She was born June 26, 1918 in Orangeburg County, SC; the daughter of the late Willie T. Binnicker and the late Geneva Dukes Binnicker. She was a member of Edisto Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Albert B. Edgemon and was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Marie Chavis, Elise Jennings, Erma Lou Binnicker and Vivian Buck and by a brother, Edward Binnicker. Survivors include her children; Charles B. Edgemon of Orangeburg; Joyce (Johnny) McCormick of St. Matthews; Elaine (Billy) McCormick of Branchville and Bobby (Christy) Porter of Cordova; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 1 sister; Beatrice Hutchins of Cordova and 2 brothers; Wilbur Binnicker of Cordova; and Alvin (Margaret) Binnicker of Beach Island, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
