Miles Felder "Jimmy" Neese, 85, widower of Gwendolyn Elaine Neese, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026. He was born on October 28, 1940, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Orangeburg.

He is survived by his son, Kerry W. Neese, Sr., (Belle) of Cope and daughter, Crystal N. Thompson (John) of Alcolu; grandchildren, Kerry W. "Bubba" Neese, Jr. (Natalie), Abigail R. Thompson (Jamie), Mary Blume (Walter), Ben Thompson (Sara) and Cristal Breedin (Shane); six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Diane Lovern (Byron) of Orangeburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 11:00A.M. at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg. Rev. Larry Williams will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jay Turner, Matt Lovern, Chris Lovern, Ben Thompson, Wayne Kirby and Van O'Cain.

Special thanks to Grove Park Hospice, Longwood Plantation and Jolley Acres (rehab) for the care and love shown during this season of his life.
