Myrtlene Wiles, 88 of Branchville  passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Thursday before the service at the funeral home

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2018  at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Ron Moskowitz officiating with burial  at Wiles Family Cemetery, 2382 Cattle Creek Road, Branchville, SC.

Myrtlene was born on January 24, 1929 in Orangeburg County. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Samuel Nettles and the late Leila Elizabeth Irick Nettles. She was a Jehovah’s Witness and attended the Kingdom Hall in Orangeburg. Her faith in Jehovah God never wavered no matter what difficulties she faced. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Woodrow Wiles and her son Joseph Bryan Wiles.

Survivors include her daughters; Bernice W. Rast and Charlotte (Jimmy) Thompson both of Branchville; 2 sons; Clyde (Debbie) Wiles of Four Holes Comm. and Stanley (Sue) Wiles of Branchville; sisters, Irene (Willis) Shumaker of Bowman, Gloria (Jerry) Gates of St. Matthews and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends  may call at the residence of Jimmy and Charlotte Thompson, 2382 Cattle Creek Road in Branchville.

Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 4; 1033 Riverside Drive, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
