Nancy Jean Bolin Buck

Nancy Jean Bolin Buck, 67 of Orangeburg passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 27, 2014.

The Casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM before the service.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Crestview Baptist Church in Orangeburg with the Rev. James Preveaux officiating. Burial will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Corley, Jay Thompson, Dennis Bolin, Stewart Bolin, Aaron Rudd, Benji Rutland, Shaquille Randolph, Kendall Jamison and Cody Ridgeway.

Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Superior Motors, Orangeburg, SC.

Nancy was born on August 21, 1947 in Orangeburg, SC; the oldest daughter of Wilbert Bolin and the late Ora Mae Etheridge Bolin. Nancy graduated from Orangeburg High School and was employed by Superior Motors. Nancy was an active member of Crestview Baptist Church where she sand in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. Nancy was precededed in death by her Mother, Ora Mae Etheridge Bolin.

Survivors include her father, Wilbert Bolin of Orangeburg of Orangeburg, SC; her daughter; Karen (Dave) McFarlane of Hanahan, SC; a sister Betty (Tommie) Ulmer of North Charleston, SC and a brother, Kenneth O. Bolin of James Island, SC, as well as several nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the funeral home. At other times family and friends may call at the residence of Mr. Wilbert Bolin.

We would respectfully ask that any memorials be given in Nancy's memory to Crestview Baptist Church; 3600 Columbia Road; Orangeburg, SC 29118 or to a charity of one's choice.
