Nancy Eileen Linder

January 29, 1961 — February 23, 2015

Nancy Eileen Linder, 54 of Orangeburg died Monday, February 23, 2015 at MUSC in Charleston.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. John United Methodist Church; Highway 301 South, Orangeburg with Pastor Lois Helms officiating The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg is assisting the family.

She was born January 29, 1961 in Walterboro, SC; the daughter of the late Harold Linder and the late Kathleen Butler Linder. Eileen spent most of her life in Orangeburg, graduating from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in 1981. She was an active member for 50 years of St. John United Methodist Church and served on many committees. Her favorite things in life were her family, singing in the church choir, listening to country music, anything Gamecocks, reading and watching cooking shows on television. She also liked jokes and riddles. She also was a blood donor through the Blood Assurance Program at the RMC donating almost 12 gallons in her lifetime. Survivors are her brother, David Linder of Orangeburg who she lived with; sister, Deborah "Debbie" Linder Constance and husband Toby of Mauldin, SC and a nephew, Chris McIver of Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church
