Nancy (Blanchard) Walker

Nancy Blanchard Walker, 88, of Orangeburg passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Rd, Orangeburg.  Rev. Ryan Tucker will be officiating.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mike Phillips, Earl Humes, Harold Hayden, Hal Hayden, Ned Fogle and Rodney Daff.

Mrs. Walker was born on September 18, 1933, in Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Nathan Blanchard and the late Novi Amos Blanchard.  She enjoyed working in the yard and especially gardening.  She was predeceased by her parents as well as her siblings, Lula Mae Blanchard, Wesley Blanchard and Nathan Blanchard.

Survivors include her children, Wanda Felder (Richard) of Low Falls, James Michael Walker (Alice) of Orangeburg; grandchildren, Kristan W. Hewitt (Jimmy) of Columbia, Sara W. Turner (Jenny) of Taylors; great-grandchild, Jameson W. Hewitt; nephew, Dean Morrow and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to caregivers Harriett Till and Norma Dukes for their love and care of Mrs. Walker and to Grove Park Hospice for their compassion and support.
