Norman Odell Kirby

Norman Odell Kirby, 81, of Cordova passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, after an extended illness.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Word of God Church, 1538 Legrand Smoak Street, Cordova.  Pastor Kenny Baltzegar will be officiating.

Mr. Kirby was born on October 28, 1941, in Orangeburg.  He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter, Janet K. Evans and a grandson, Bryan J. Evans.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lorene Kirby of the home; daughter, Lisa Jennings (Marvin) of Cordova; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, James Kirby (Betty); sister, Mary Alice Zeigler and a number of nieces and nephews.
