Norman Lee Snipes

Norman Lee Snipes, 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. S. C.

Mr. Snipes was born on December 26, 1944 in Orangeburg.  He was the son of the late O’Quilla Snipes and the late Myrtle Sanford Dempsey.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Wells Snipes of Bowman; children, Michael Snipes (Crystal) of Bowman, Angela Harley of North; grandchildren, Jesse Snipes (Sarah Price), Michaela Driggers, Olivia Snipes, Delaynie Snipes; sister, Dorothy Fields of Neeses; brothers, Marvin Jackson (Laura) of Gold Hill, N.C., Eugene Jackson (Cathryn) of Maryland; special pet, “Little Bit;” family friend Ricky Union and a number of nieces and nephews.
