Norris Sauls, 79 of 1000 Live Oaks Drive; Orbg. died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg

The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service3.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2015 at Bethany Baptist Church in Orangeburg with burial in the church cemetery with Rev. Steve Scott and Rev. Henry Cooper officiting directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

He was born October 18, 1936 in Ridgeland, SC; the son of the late Maude Sauls. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard and was retired from Albermarle. He was the widower of the late Dorothy "Fay" Ayers Sauls and was preceded in death by a brother; Percy A. Sauls of Hardeeville.

Survivors include 2 sons; Norris Stephen Sauls (Lynne) of Cayce, SC; Michael Wayne Sauls (Kelly) of Neeses; 1 daughter; Lynda Fay Williams (Ed) of Neeses; 6 grandchildren; Shane Steffen of Orangeburg; Heather Rebecca Kenniz of Seattle, WA; Stacey Nicole Sauls of Charlotte, NC; Kyle Edwin Williams of Neeses; Michael Wayne Sauls, Jr. of Orangeburg and Erica Paige Williams of Neeses; 1 great grandson; Colton Knox Williams of Neeses; a sister; Myrtle Blewer of Hartsville; 2 brothers; H.B. Sauls (Marie) of Kingstree and Robert Sauls of Ridgeland; a sister; Dorothy Tindall of Ridgeland.

Friends may call at the funeral home. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
