Novis Givens (Knight) Felkel

Novis Knight Givens Felkel, 93, of Orangeburg passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Columbia Road Church of God, 2485 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.  Rev. Jonathan Vaughn and Rev. Travis Shirley will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2720 Broughton Street, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Columbia Road Church of God prior to the funeral service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Givens, C.J. Givens, Steven Givens, Ryan Givens, Gus Files and Tommy Scott.

Honorary pallbearers are the members of her Sunday School class.

Mrs. Felkel was born on January 27, 1932, in Bamberg, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late John and Estelle Mudder Knight. She was employed with the school system for many years.  She was a faithful member of Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg.  Mrs. Novis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will forever be missed.

Survivors include her sons, Tony (Deborah) Givens, Roy (Pattie) Givens; sister, Claudia Craft; grandchildren, Stephanie Givens, Chris (Michelle) Givens, Steven Givens, Ryan Givens, Patrick Givens and a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Erma Champy, Audrey Mae Roberts and Dick Knight.
