Pamela (Dukes) Blackwell

Pamela Dukes Blackwell, 67, of Orangeburg passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church, 4000 Riverbank Drive, Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.  Dr. Billy Hurst will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church prior to the funeral service.

Pamela was born on September 19, 1957, in Orangeburg.  She was the daughter of the late Earl Dukes and the late Marjorie Williams Dukes.  She attended New Hope Baptist Church in Orangeburg.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Johnathan “Chop” Jackson (Sharon), Bryan Jackson (Mary); five grandchildren, Breanna Jackson, Nicole Fanning, Lana Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Brook Hardy; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Gail Thomas (Charles); brothers, Earl Dukes, Jr. (Joanne), Sidney Dukes (Rhetha) and a number of additional family members, and friends.
