Patricia Margaret Darnell of 130 Moose Lane, Cope and 781 Oliver Street, Bowman died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 19, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Bowman with burial at Bowman Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Allen Smith and Rev. Bobby Etheridge will be Officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Edward Barnes, Don Hughes, Louis Morgan, Mike Hay, Mark Holbert, Charlie Inabinet and Glenn Ashe.
She was born April 6, 1955 in Bamberg, SC; the daughter of the late Wade Darnell and the late Kate Hutchins Darnell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bowman.
Survivors include 3 sisters; Peggy Hughes of Tarhill, NC; Faye Morris of Cope; Linda Worrell (Joe) of Orangeburg; 2 brothers; Grady Darnell and Billy Darnell both of Bowman; a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; a special nephew and caregiver; Will Darnell of Cope. Friends may call at the residence of Joe and Linda Worrell; 3613 Kennerly Road; Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
VISITATION WILL BE HELD 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 18, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bowman; 6605 Charleston Highway; Bowman, SC 29018.
