Patricia D. (Rentz) Chavis

Patricia Dianne R. Chavis, 69, of Gaston, previously of Orangeburg passed away surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Rd, Orangeburg.  Rev. Billy Crapps will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 30, 2021, prior to the graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Michael Roscoe, Ronald Chavis, Charles Baughman, Matt Thomas, Danny Fogle and Randy Corley.

Mrs. Chavis was born on December 27, 1951, in Orangeburg.  She was the daughter of the late Crystol Rentz and the late Effie Lee Risher Rentz.  She was formerly employed by DHL and Air Borne Express.  She is a member of New Hope Worship Center in Gaston.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Lee Chavis of Gaston; daughters, Jackie Corley (James) of Lexington, Angela C. Chavis of Gaston, Monica D. Clayton (Mark) of Myrtle Beach; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; brother, David Allen Rentz (Nancy) of Columbia; sister, Susan Ott of St. Matthews and a number of nieces and nephews.
