Paul Laman Zeigler

Paul Laman Zeigler, 75, of Raleigh, N.C. passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the home of his brother in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

He was born in Orangeburg on June 13, 1947.  He was the son of the late David and Irene Zeigler.  Paul spent most of his adult life in the Raleigh, N.C. area.

Paul is survived by two sons, Warren (Angie) of Columbia, S.C. and Wendell (Taylor) of Apex, N.C.  He is also survived by two grandsons, Anderson and Cohen of Apex, N.C.; his brother, David J. Zeigler of Fredericksburg; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Buck of Allendale and Lynn Buck of Cordova; he also leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Buck of Cordova and Judy Buck Mast of Orangeburg and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Patricia Buck Zeigler.

A graveside service will be held at Smoak Family Cemetery off Cannon Bridge Road on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 2:00 P.M.  Rev. Alexander Baker will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 9149 Elys Ford Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
