Randolph Lewis “Randy” Whetstone, 53, of Orangeburg passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.

A Special Service will be held at Orangeburg Motorplex at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at  2:00 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg.  Rev. Dan Stroman will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chad Argoe, Scott Williams, Gregg Williams, Matt Teer, Edward Easterling and Chris Waters

He was born July 1, 1965 in Thompson, GA; the son of the late Randolph Cameron Whetstone and the late Nellie Virginia Simmons Whetstone. He was a former employee of Gregory Electric.

Survivors include his wife; Cherry Griffith of the home; 2 daughters; Candice Griffith (Sage Carson) of Orangeburg; Tara Faethe of Bordentown, New Jersey; 3 sons; Randall Griffith (Meagan) of Orangeburg; Brandon Griffith (Destiny) of Orangeburg and Nicholas Griffith (Kristen Nettles) of Orangeburg; 10 grandchildren; Ashlyn Mobley, Emory Griffith, Caleb Griffith, Landon Griffith, Dawson Griffith, Bryceton Carter, Cameron Carter, Landon Nettles, Walker Hoover and Jackson Hoover; 1 sister, Barbara Younce of North Augusta; 3 brothers; Robert Wilson of North Augusta, Clark Whetstone of Moncks Corner and Joey Wilson of Wagener, SC.

Friends may call at the residence of Nicholas Griffith; 324 Cottonwood Drive, Orangeburg and at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 27, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
