Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Paul Hill officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg with burial at Smoaks Cemetery in Cordova.
He was born August 26, 1937 in Orangeburg County, SC; the son of the late Leroy Tillman Jackson and the late Eliza Gertrude Brown Jackson. He was a member of Edisto Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the S.C. Department of Transportation. Survivors include his wife; Rachael Ann Hunt Jackson of the home; 2 daughters; Barbara Fields (Steve) of Cordova; Robin Dianne Branham (Robert James) of Cordova; 1 granddaughter; Jaymie Branham Fulmer (Michael)of Aiken; 1 sister; Betty Oglesby of Holly Hill; a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Friends may call at the residence;113 Bible Church Road; Cordova and at the funeral home. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
