Robert Laurie Brickle

Robert Laurie Brickle, 81, of Norway passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 29, 2024, at his residence.

Robert was born on September 4, 1942, in Bowman, SC. He was the son of the late Laurie and Ethel Brickle. He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Brickle, of nearly 60 years, children, Melissa Davis, Sean Brickle, grandchildren, Ansley Ripley (Michael), Ryan Davis, Wes Davis (Amelia), sister, Sadie Padgett and a number of nieces and nephews.

Robert worked for Winn Dixie in Orangeburg, for over 40 years until their closure and for the last 14 years he worked at Piggly Wiggly in Neeses.

He loved being outdoors, especially working in his garden and spending time with his family

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church, 1066 Bonnette Road in Cope.

Family will receive friends and family following the service and at other times at the residence.
