Robert John Byron, Sr.

Robert John Byron, Sr., 78, of St. Matthews, passed away.

A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Roselawn Cemetery in St. Matthews.  Rev. Genia Jacques will be officiating.

He was born July 22, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA. He worked at Fairey Motor Company and Calhoun Academy.  He was preceded in death by a son, Robert John Byron, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Patricia Feaster Byron of the home; three daughters; Barbara Neil, Melissa Byron and Penny (Ricky) Irick; Grandchildren; Daneshia Byron, Lynda Gleaton, Samantha Irick, Robert Irick and Jeffery Byron.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.  in Orangeburg.
