Robert William Mckay

Robert William McKay, 55, of Orangeburg passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.

Robert was born on May 11, 1968, in Newberry County.  He was the son of James W. McKay and the late Frances Fowler McKay.  Robert loved to draw and was quite a talented artist.  He enjoyed hunting which he called “trapping,” listening to Elvis Presley music and drinking coffee.  He had a quiet spirit.

Survivors include his father, James McKay; siblings, Darlene Huckaby (Dan), Mary Kelly (Michael), Ann McKay, Danny McKay; nephews, Justin McKay, J.R. Huckaby (Lindsey); nieces, Ashley Turner (Lewis) and Donna Lopez (McDonald).
