Robert S. McMillan, 65 of 3644 Lake Marston Drive; Orangeburg died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at Providence Hospital in Columbia.
Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 PM before the service
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church; 7818 Columbia Road; St. Matthews, SC with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Ernest R. Medlin officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Brazell, Andy Thompson, John Medlin, Eddie Sweatman, Jamie Jones and Charles Burton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all other men of the Ong Fellowship Class.
Robert was born on July 20, 1948 in Orangeburg to Felicia Davis McMillan Myers and the late Robert McMillan. He attended Southern Methodist College and the Charleston Southern University. He worked as a photographer for Olan Mills for many years and later worked for AMCOL Ins. in Columbia as a debt collector for 15 years. Due to health reasons, he became disabled and retired early. He loved to talk with people, fish, collect stamps and coins. The thing he loved the most was his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved Bible study and as a very active member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survived by his Mother, Felicia Davis McMillan Myers, a brother; Charles W. McMillan and a number of aunts all of Orangeburg.
