Roland Lee "Buster" Zeigler, Jr. 92 of Four Holes Community died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
A Private, Family Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Four Holes Baptist Church Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Tom McElhaney officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Tom Bozard, Freddy Riley, Lee Zeigler, Gabe Zeigler, Caleb Steedley and Dain Schurlknight
He was born July 23, 1923 in Orangeburg County, SC; the son of the late Roland Lee Zeigler, Sr. and the late Ola Bozard Zeigler. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Four Holes Baptist Church. He was the widower of the late Mary Chambless Zeigler.
Survivors include 2 sons; R.L. (Bonnie) Zeigler III and Roy C. (Susan) Zeigler both of Orangeburg; 6 grandchildren; Lee (Kim) Zeigler of Concord, NC; Gabe (Carol Ann) Zeigler of Chapin; Karla (Caleb) Steedley of China Grove, NC; Lauren (Dain) Schurlknight of Cordova; Kim Murphy of Orangeburg; Lee (Cori) Williams of Irmo and 10 great grandchildren; McKayla and Jillian Zeigler of St. Matthews, Noah, Grayson and Sophie Steedley of China Grove, NC; Payton, Prestan and Parker Schurlknight of Cordova; Kaylee Murphy of Orangeburg; Tison Williams of Irmo, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence of Roy and Susan Zeigler; 1854 Four Holes Road; Orangeburg, SC 29115 and Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. In Orangeburg.
Visitation will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Church's Social Hall at Four Holes Baptist Church in Orangeburg.
