Roland Dewey Sutcliff

Roland Dewey Sutcliff, 86, of Norway passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Norway Cemetery in Norway, S.C with full military honors.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the home of Mr. Roland Sutcliff, 3156 Cope Road, Norway.

Mr. Sutcliff was born on August 1, 1934. He was the son of the late Rubin B. Sutcliffe and the late Frances Young Sutcliffe.

He was retired from the USAF. TSgt Roland D. Sutcliff served from 1952 to 1973 as a Loadmaster on the C-141, C-46 and C-47. He served multiple tours in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his son, Benjamin Keith Sutcliffe; daughter, Sherrie Sutcliff Price (Jackson); Grandchildren, Katie Frances Sutcliffe, Ashleigh Price (Jon), Chuck Stillinger (Kaitlyn), Sarah Snipes (Jesse), Jack Price (Lauren) and CJ Sutcliff; four great- grandchildren; brothers, Linnie Sutcliffe, Sr.  Joe Sutcliffe, Bobby Sutcliffe and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grove Park Hospice at 1353 Grove Park Dr, Orangeburg, S.C. 29115.
