He was born June 21, 1947 in San Francisco, CA; the son of the late Clifford Thomas Alford, Jr. and the late Helen Elizabeth Karas Alford Hoekstra. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from The State of California and the San Juan School District in Sacramento, CA.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Ann Spernak of the home; 2 daughters; Tracy Taylor and Mylein Voorhees both of Northern California; 3 grandchildren; Joshua, Haley and Michaela.
