Ronald Kenneth Braxton

Ronald Kenneth Braxton, Jr. , 38, of Orangeburg passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Mr. Kenneth Braxton was born on December 13, 1977 in Orangeburg.  He was the son of the late Ronald Kenneth (Ken) Braxton, Sr. and Marlene Bessinger Pippin.  Mr. Braxton served in the United States Army.  He was predeceased by his father, his brother, William Edward Braxton and his grandmother Rebecca Braxton.

Survivors include his mother, Marlene and Russell Pippin of Orangeburg; sister Jessica and Jason Sturkie of Orangeburg; a special cousin who was thought of like a sister, Ashlyn Gunnells of Cope; step-brother, Johnny and Tracey Pippin of Orangeburg; step-sister, Jessica and Jason Lovern of Cordova; half-sister, Casandra Elaine Hall of Beaufort; maternal grandmother, Annie Mae Bessinger of Cope; paternal grandfather, E.J. Braxton of Orangeburg; aunt, Joyce and Tony Gunnells of Cope; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
