IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Emmett
Bozard
October 2, 1965 – February 8, 2026
Ronald Emmett Bozard, born on October 2, 1965, was a remarkable individual whose life touched many hearts before he departed this world at his home on February 8, 2026. Ronald exhibited a profound love for the outdoors, often finding solace and joy in nature, whether he was fishing in a serene pond or casting his line on the vast ocean. His passion for the great outdoors was only rivaled by his love for music—a gift he cherished and imparted to his children, instilling in them an appreciation for melodies and rhythms that would last a lifetime.
Throughout his life, Ronald forged a path as a skilled carpenter, self-employed for many years. His craftsmanship reflected not just skill but an artistry and dedication that left a lasting imprint on each project he undertook. He had a rare ability to turn timber into warmth, providing not only shelter but also a sense of home for countless families.
Musically inclined, Ronald had a flair for the guitar and a voice that sang melodies that lingered in the air long after the last note had faded. He was a member of multiple bands over the years, sharing his love for music with friends, family, and strangers alike.
Ronald was a devoted father to his children, Tabitha B. Johnson, Jesse Bozard (Brandy), and Israel Bozard, who all reside in St. Matthews. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Timothy Thompson, II, Ember Johnson, Gracelee Smoak, Kaylee Bozard, Cali Bozard, Lawson Bozard, and Charley Bozard, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Catherine Fields Bozard, and his brothers Donnie Bozard and Tony Bozard. Their bonds forged through time and shared memories will keep his spirit alive.
Sadly, Ronald's passing marks the end of an era for those who cherished him, particularly the memory of his father, Lee Bozard, Sr., and his brother, Nicky Bozard, who have preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. located at 1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC, with a graveside service the following day, Friday, February 13, at 11:00 AM at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 655 Hammond Cross Rd, Saint Matthews, SC.
As we say farewell to Ronald Emmett Bozard, we hold on tightly to the memories of his laughter, his song, and the enduring love he shared with all of us. His legacy will live on in the hearts of family and friends, woven into the fabric of lives forever changed by his presence.
