Rose Lin Smoak Bair, 83 of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., entered into rest on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. God’s Angel of Mercy relieved Rose Lin from all sickness and pain at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Visitation with Family and Friends will be from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 noon Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 P.M. Saturday, December 31, 2016, in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Cordova with the Rev. Ken Lee officiating.
Mrs. Bair was born January 20, 1933, in Orangeburg. She was the widow of the late Earl Kennerly Bair, Sr. and the daughter of the late John Thurston Smoak and Rosebud Smoak Smoak. She was retired from South Carolina National Bank.
Survivors include her sons, Earl Kennerly Bair, Jr. and his wife Carolyn Barrett Bair of Mount Pleasant, S.C. and Daniel Thurston Bair of Lake Junaluska, N.C.; four grandchildren, Joshua Caleb Bair and his wife Maria Lisi Bair of North Charleston, SC, Anna Katherine Bair of Mount Pleasant, SC, Joseph Daniel Bair of Mount Pleasant, S.C. and David Thurston Bair of Atlanta, Ga.; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
