Roy Ervin Gramling, born on May 25, 1948, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. With a career dedicated to maintenance, Roy was known for his remarkable expertise and lifelong passion for working on vehicles, regardless of their make or model. 

Roy was a man whose dedication extended beyond his profession and into his personal life, where he was cherished by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Hunt Gramling; his children, Tammie McKnight (Tracy), Jason Gramling (Julia "Megan"), Andy Gramling, and Michael Gramling; as well as his grandchildren, Brandy McKnight, Jamie Gramling, and Christie Gramling. Roy’s legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Alex Strickland, Brooklyn McKnight, and Mary McKnight. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Bryant, along with numerous nieces and nephews who remember him fondly.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Jack A. Gramling and Mary McCall Gramling; his brother, Jack A. Gramling, Jr.; and Flora Grace Gramling.

Throughout his life, Roy exemplified dedication, skill, and a genuine passion for his work and his family. His memory endures in the hearts of those who knew him and through the lasting impact he made both personally and professionally.
