Sallie Mildred Harley Platt , 94 formerly of Elloree died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Laurel Baye Health Care of Orangeburg.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM before the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Bamberg County Memory Gardens with Rev. Mike Sells officiating. Pallbearers will be Glenn Platt, Randall Platt, Doug Kennedy, William Johnson, Mike Holbert and Vernon Kizer.
She was born November 30, 1918 in Barnwell County, SC; the daughter of the late Willie W. Harley and the late Suzanne Lizzie Sanders Harley. She was the widow of the late Willie W. Platt.
Survivors include 1 son; Gene (Debbie) Platt of Elloree; 1 daughter; Mrs. Odell (Carolyn) Johnson of Eutawville; 4 grandchildren; Dee Dee Prickett (Kim) of St. Matthews; Amie Barton (Allen) of St. Matthews; Steven Johnson (Milenda) of Denmark and Suzzane Johnson of Florida; 7 great grandchildren.
