Sandra (Smoak) Brunson

Sandra Smoak Brunson, 70, of Orangeburg passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Home, 1012 Whitman Street Orangeburg.  Rev. Don Freeman will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Rd, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Richard Edgemon, Travis Dawson, William “Dubby” Martin, Robert Hoffman, Kevin Gartman and Ricky Bonnette.

Mrs. Sandra was born on November 4, 1949 in Orangeburg.  She was the daughter of the late Adam Smoak and the late Annie Lou Dempsey Smoak.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Johnny Brunson; children, Dena Brunson (Travis Dawson), Jody Brunson; grandchildren, Matthew Brunson, Amy Brunson; sisters, Nancy Benton, Cindy Stillinger (Dwight) and a number of nieces.
