Sandra (Hill) Williams

Sandra Hill Williams, 67, of North passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, after an extended illness.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.  Rev. Alan Woodward will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, prior to the memorial service.

Mrs. Williams was born in Orangeburg County.  She was the daughter of the late Charles E. Hill and the late Lessie Mae Hoover.  She enjoyed fishing, auctions and going to the flea markets prior to her health declining.  She also enjoyed working with her hands.  She could crochet almost anything.  She had a passion for rescuing and raising animals.  Her generosity knew no bounds.  She saw a need and would try to meet it.  Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those that knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, William “Billy” Williams, Sr.; children, Chris Nix (Kristina), Billy Nix (Jessica), William Nix (Terri), William Williams, Jr., Hank Williams; nineteen grandchildren; brothers, Charles Hill, John Hill, Mike Hill and a number of nieces, nephews and additional friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Debra Hill.
