Sara Barron Coughenour

Mrs. Sara Barron Coughenour passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Longwood Plantation in Orangeburg.
Sara was born on September 30, 1919 in Mount Pleasant, PA. She was the daughter of the late David and Harriet Meredith Barron. Her favorite hobby was crocheting and she also enjoyed gardening. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald H. Coughenour and a daughter, Sally Muko.
Survivors include her children, Rebecca Domenico (Pat) of North Charleston, S.C., Irene Kirsch (Terry) of the Villages, FL, Donald Coughenour (Karen) of Cordova, S.C. and Donna Allen (David) of Greensburg; grandchildren, Robert Stout, Tina Bible, Ann Domenico, Patty Bradley, Leann Kelly, Jessica Holland, Lindsey Brown, Donald Coughenour and Lisa Rincones; 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Saloom-Rega Funeral Services in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Saloom-Rega Funeral Services in Mt. Pleasant, PA.
