Sean Philip Smith, 34, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg. Burial will follow at Norway Baptist Church Cemetery in Norway, S.C. Rev. Ryan Davis will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be George Clayton, Glen Clayton, Reggie Bowman, Michael Smith, Austin Blackmon and Patrick Blake.
Sean was born on October 4, 1982 in Lexington, S.C. but he grew up in Norway, S.C. He was the son of Donna Hightower Noblett and the late Solomon Philip Smith. He attended HKT in Norway. Sean was a member of Norway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Noblett, of Orangeburg, S.C.; sister, Katie Smith Marlowe (Jordan) of Manning, S.C.; paternal grandmother, Betty B. Smith of Norway, S.C. and his step-mother, Lisa S. Smith (Tom) and step-sister Hannah all of Manning, S.C. and step-father Buck Noblett and step-sister Amanda Hicks both of Charleston; uncles and aunts, David Smith, George Smith (Pauline), Charles Hightower (Annette), Tony Hightower, Lori Hightower, Douglas Hightower (Brenda), Eleanor James and many loving cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 prior to the funeral service.
