Sgt. James R. Mcnames

Sgt. James R. McNames, 82, of Orangeburg passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2720 Broughton St, Orangeburg with military honors.  Rev. Ken Jernigan will be officiating.

Sgt. McNames was born on July 17, 1939 in Denver, CO.  He was the son of the late Roscoe C. McNames and the late Dorothy M. McNames.  He was retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service.  Sgt. McNames served during the Vietnam War and the Korean war.

Survivors include his sons, Timothy McNames and Michael McNames both of Denver, CO; special friends, Mary Bradford and Wayne Bradford.
