Sherri Carrigg McClain, 55, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Rev. Henry Cooper will be officiating.
Mrs. McClain was born on December 11, 1961 in Tampa, Florida. She was the daughter of Angus “Buck” F. Carrigg and the late Ophelia Craven Carrigg. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and “a Friend of Bill’s.” She was predeceased by brothers, Michael David Carrigg and Cap. U.S. Air Force Retired Ronnie Carrigg.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Angus “Buck” Carrigg (Doris) of Cope; sisters, Jennifer Carrigg of St. Matthews, Laura Morrison (Aaron) of Corpus Christy, Texas; brother, Billy Carrigg of St. Matthews; a number of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Pinkie Fairey of St. Matthews.
