Shirley Ann Hammond

Shirley Ann Hammond, 77, passed away at her residence; 889 Horger Street Orangeburg, on Friday, May 5, 2017.

Shirley was born in Bennettsville, S.C. on September 1, 1939.  She was the daughter of the late Robert S. Webster and the late Jocie L. Webster of St. Matthews, S.C.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, S.C.  Pastor James Preveaux will be officiating.  Burial will follow at West End Cemetery in St. Matthews, S.C.  A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 P.M. on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Robert Mooney, Terry Mooney, Thomas Hill, Sammy Watson, Joel Waldrop and Jimmy Martin.

Shirley was a beloved mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Mooney of Cordova, S.C.; two grandchildren, Teresa J.  Mooney and Robert F. Mooney both of Columbia; five great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Abbygail, Katelyn, Dixiana and Owen and a special friend Carolyn Evans.
