Stephen Lane Fogle, 72, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, passed away on August 22, 2026. Born on January 9, 1954, Stephen was born, raised, and spent his life in the Wolfton community of Orangeburg, a place he was proud to call home.

Stephen was the son of the late Margaret and Gillespie Fogle. Growing up, he was an active young athlete who participated in football, baseball, and other sports. He built his career with The Okonite Company.

Stephen was a hardworking man who loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and taking care of the home place. He also had a great love for college football and was a devoted Clemson Tigers fan.

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Billie Marie Fogle; his children, Eric Fogle, Caroline Fogle, and Kerry Krider; his grandchildren, Jesse Fogle, Lillian Fogle, Annaleen Fogle, Leander Krider, Macaria Krider, Nicholi Krider, and Olexa Krider; and his sisters, Janice Fogle Beane, Dixie Stullenbarger, and Nancy Rose.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Gillespie Fogle; his sister, Susan Dewitt; and his daughter, April Fogle.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Robert, Susan, and Joseph Yoakum, Richard Earhardt, and the hospice care team for their kindness, support, and helping hands along the way.

A viewing will be held on August 29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg, South Carolina. A memorial service will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Stephen Fogle to Edisto Home Care & Hospice.

Stephen will be remembered for his hard work, his love of the outdoors and farming, his dedication to his home place, his love for the Clemson Tigers, and most of all, the love he had for his family.
