Neeses died Thursday April 24, 2014 at his residence.

The Casket will be placed in the church one hour

before the service.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM

Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Lebanon United

Methodist Church in Neeses with burial in the

church cemetery with Rev. Neil Flowers and

Rev. Mark Altman officiating directed by

Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg

Pallbearers will be Allen Fanning, Greg Fanning,

Braxton Fanning, Billy Bryant, Cole Irick,

John Trussell, Dalton Hoover, Ronnie Rosier and Tyler Preston

Honorary Pallbearers will be Open Door Sunday School Class

and the Lebanon United Men’s Group

He was born February 9, 1953 in Orangeburg County, SC;

the son of the late Colley C. Fanning and the late Creola

Davis Fanning. He attended USC for 2 and a half years and

was a retired rural mail carrier. He was preceded in death

by a son; Steven Bradley Fanning; a brother; Colie C. Fanning,

Jr. and by a sister; Jean Fanning Bryant.

Survivors include his wife; Scheral Etheridge Fanning of the

home; 1 son; Joshua A. Fanning (Ashley) Fanning and

1 daughter; Stacie R. Fanning both of Neeses; 1 grandchild;

Talon A. Fanning; 1 brother; Remo Fanning of Neeses; 2 sisters;

Nancy Fanning Rogers of Little River; Carolyn Fanning Smithson

of Neeses and a number of nieces and nephews.

FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE residence; 144 Shortleaf Road;

Neeses and at the funeral home.

VISITATION WILL BE HELD 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2014

at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
