Susan H. (Rentz) Ott

Susan H. Ott, 69, of St. Matthews passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, with her family by her side.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.

Mrs. Ott was born on January 1, 1954, in Orangeburg.  She was the daughter of the late Chrystol Lee Rentz and the late Effie Lee Rischer Rentz.  She was employed with Hughes Aircraft for many years as a radar technician specialist.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mike Ott and a sister, Patsy Chavis.

Survivors include her children. Doug Hughey (Stacy) of Orangeburg, William Brad Hughey of Orangeburg, Mikie Ott of Hanahan; grandchildren, Morgan Moore (Jake), Alyssa Hughey, Xavier Hughey, Xander Hughey; great-grandson, Noah Moore; brother, David Rentz (Nancy); brother-in-law, Terry Chavis and a number of nieces and nephews.
