Teresa Frances Lindsley, 73, of Orangeburg passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, after an extended illness.
A family burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Lindsley was born on October 13, 1950, in Lebanon, TN. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel L. Lindsley and the late Frances Dickens Lindsley. She was a graduate of Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College with an associate degree in Nursing. She worked for many years as a registered nurse and finally retired from Dwight D. Eisenhower Military Hospital in Augusta, GA. After retirement she was able to do the things that brought her joy. Her grandchildren became her life. Her greatest love was being called “Gammy.” She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Jeremy Lawrence Williams and Michael Williams.
Survivors include her son, Thomas “Tommy” Williams, Jr. (Tennille) of Orangeburg; daughters, Kristi Williams Barger (Bryan) of TN, Kendra DeAnne Williams (John) of Columbia; five grandchildren, Mary Catherine Williams, Thomas “Bryson” Williams, Thomas “Payne” Williams, Collin Michael Barger, Kaelin Brook Barger; brother, Philip Lindsley (Cheri) of Lebanon, TN and an additional number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
