It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Teresa G. Pitts, a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to caring for others. Born on January 31, 1961, in Orangeburg, Teresa illuminated the lives of many throughout her journey.

Teresa faced her final moments with the unwavering love of her family surrounding her, peacefully passing away on December 8, 2025. Her warmth and commitment to those she cherished have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.

As a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Teresa's proudest accomplishments stem from the incredible family she nurtured. She leaves behind her devoted daughters, Misty Maynard of Cope and Tammie Wilson of Orangeburg, along with her beloved son, Kenneth Hunt of Orangeburg. Her life was further enriched by her significant other, Roger Wilson, who stood by her side in their home. Teresa also held dear her brothers, Kevin Hunt and Michael Hunt, as well as a number of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will carry her legacy of love into the future.

Throughout her life, Teresa found joy in putting others first. She spent her days ensuring the well-being of those around her, exemplifying what it meant to be selfless and loving. Her heart was always open, and her generosity knew no bounds. The affection and compassion she shared with her family and friends created a strong foundation that will forever resonate in their hearts.

A visitation for Teresa G. Pitts will take place on December 13, 2025, at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
