Terry Kincaid

Mr. Terry Kincaid, 78 of Orangeburg, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 16, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1946, in Morgantown N.C. He has been a resident of Orangeburg, SC for over 60 years, where he worked in Maintenace and as supervisor at AYP, Husqvarna and Koyo. He retired from Koyo in 2018.

Terry’s life was marked by devotion to his family, faith and the joy of the outdoors. He especially cherished fishing trips on any lake in S.C. with his son, Shawn, as well as family gatherings and celebrations. He took pride in his yardwork and in using his hands to build anything.

He was a faithful member of Embark Church in Orangeburg where he found his love for Jesus and friends who were like family. He loved serving and was faithful in his service. He found purpose in in participating in any way he could. His faith community was the cornerstone of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife Beth, of over 25 years. His children Shawn Kincaid (Robin), Dawn Kincaid Beard and stepdaughter Jennifer Jernigan. Grandchildren William Kincaid, Wayne Kincaid (Azaria), Bliss Kincaid and Zakk Beard; as well as his great-grandson Landon Beard.  He also leaves behind his brother, Mike Kincaid and sisters-in-law, Laura Meggs and Ann Lonon (Gerald).

Terry was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Clyde and Bernice Benham Kincaid.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Embark Church, 3600 Columbia Road in Orangeburg. Rev. Jud Jordan will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
