Tommy Edward Milhouse,76, of Cordova died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg after a sudden illness.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg. Rev. Charlie Snipes will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Terry Weeks, Timmy Weeks, Brian Axson, Scotty Scott, Bob Griffis and Toby Inabinet

He was born January 17, 1940 in Orangeburg, SC; the son of the late O.P. Milhouse and the late Betty Lou Williams Milhouse. He was retired owner and operator of Milhouse Logging. He worked in the logging industry for over 40 years. He loved to travel. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Milhouse.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jean Benton Milhouse of Cordova; 1 son Michael Edward Milhouse of Cordova; 2 daughters; Windy and Frank Ginn of Cordova; Cindy and Bobby Furtick of Cordova; 4 grandchildren; Brittney Renee Furtick, Corey Joe Furtick, Jessica Furtick and Trista Milhouse; 3 great grandchildren; Caydence Amaker, Bobby Amaker, Jr. and Colby Williams; 1 brother, Pat and Roxie Milhouse; 2 sisters, Linda and Bobby Craig; Kathy and Osborne Inabinet and a number of nieces and nephews; brother-in-law; Fred and Pat Benton; 2 sisters-in-law; Mickey Hughes and Paul Dunn; Tommie Scott and Eddie Bonnette; also his pet dog, Roxanne.

Friends may call at the residence of Bobby and Cindy Furtick; 199 Graphic Drive, Cordova.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
